Credit card use

Since we were granted our non-profit status, what still needs to be done
to enable us to accept credit cards on our own behalf?
The Spring Donation Drive is just around the corner!
I hope we may have the ability by then for us to accept cards.
We've been blessed with the kindness of our members but I feel we need to
stand on our own, so to say.

I'm not picking on or meaning to rush anyone, but it seems I remember
seeing Tracy say that once we obtained non-profit, the credit card thing should be a 'snap'.
(don't throw things at me unless you have bad aim and they are valuable or tasty! )

Question - Since we are now non-profit, how will this affect someone donating?
I hope to tie this into the thread about the drive. Please give me your thoughts and insight
so we can share with the membership.

I am filling the form out this weekend. I struggled finding a vendor that would do raffles.

Our application is in underwriting. That has been the status since March 1. They said it should take 24 to 48 hours to approve. They must not be on the same clock I am on:eusa_booh:eusa_booh. Just wanted everyone to know where we are in the process.

Great News!!!! We now have credit card processing!!:icon_cheers:icon_cheers. I have a lot of settings to tweak before it is live. And I will request help from our resident experts to get the page up. (actually I have already asked, now to supply them the proper info to get it set up). Hopefully by weekend we will go live. Joe, I'll be calling you for input!!
