Compound Cut @northcarolinawoodworker Puzzle Box!
I've made this to donate to the annual Woodworkers Picnic Raffle!
The design comes from an older issue of @scrollsawwoodworking magazine by @foxchapelpublishing
This one is made from pine and was cut out completely on my @deltamachinery Scroll Saw
After assembly, I sanded everything to a high grit with @klingsporswoodworkingshop sandpaper.
I then took it to my @longer.global Ray5 Laser and after a couple tests. I etched the NC Woodworkers logo onto the lid
I then stained it with a light @minwaxusa wood stain and after it dried, I gave it a finish with several coats of @rustoleum clear gloss.
I was happy to make this puzzle box to donate to the annual picnic in May.
All proceeds will go to a good cause!
I even filmed making one of these puzzle boxes for a future YouTube Video!
