Aren't the SawStop folks the ones that went to to government and asked that their product be legislated as mandatory for all table saws (after other manufacturers turned them down)? I'm all for safety and for well built saws... but that sounds like a conflict of interest. Ah well... maybe it's just another case of aligators in the sewers... I never investigated the story.

Thought I would tell you guys the latest issue of Fine Woodworking has a brand new review on cabinet saws, and gave the sawstop the highest mark, tied with the new PM. Said the best value is the Grizz.

Of course none of them can compare to my tried and true old craftsman contractors saw, its a 3hp model, says so right on the saw(developed hp that is).
