Byrd Shelix Cutterhead For steelex st1006

I'm pretty sure but still have to take more measurement's but I think a DJ-20 for a grizzly G0490/shop fox w1741 should work/fit. The bearing sizes are the same. I can't find any information as to which one will definitely fit. Might have to be a guinea pig, bite the bullet, order one and hope it works. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I would contact Holbren and ask them. I bought my DJ 20 spiral replacement head from them a few years ago. They had the best price, free shipping, and their advice was spot on. Very satisfied. There is an 800 number on their web site.

Steelex has the st1011 which looks like the same machine with helical head. Talk to the local Steelex dealer and see if he can order the head. The local dealer here in Charlotte is Leneave Supply.
