Building a vanity stool

I recently refinished a stool and reused the hardware that secured the legs to the frame. I thought I had it tight enough, but it quickly resumed the side-side wobble it had before. I added dowels to that to stabilize it, so it is going to my daughter's house.

For the new stool, I'm adding blocks to act as wedges between the frame and legs. Here are a couple of in progress pics...

Just a little progress on the stool this week. The stretchers are glues, with dowels dry-fit into the legs. Dowel holes drill at the top of the legs, need to mark the inside of the frame next.

I made some jigs to hold the stretchers at the same height.
