Rhett,

I don't think there is a good place here, at least not that I know off. I had some less than satisfactory experiences. Next time, I'll sent them of to Forrest. They sharpen other brands, too. There was a big discussion on another web site (FOG) and all comments regarding Forrest's sharpening service were very complimentary.

Both Woodcraft and Klingspor's offer blade sharpening. Woodcraft uses Raleigh Saw (if I'm wrong, Tom feel free to correct me), and Klingspor uses Ashcroft. For a mail source, consider Dynamic saw in Buffallo NY www.dynamicsaw.com

I have been using Raleigh Saw (direct) for several years. They have been good to me. I mail the knives/blades in and they mail them back. All business done over the phone.

I am in Greensboro. Along the same topic, does anybody know places for saw blade and joint knife sharpening in Greensboro, High Point areas?

Thanks for any info in advance.

You might check with Rockler or Woodcraft and see if they have recommendations.
