Belt sander glee....

I just put a graphite "platen" on my old old portable belt sander.

It runs so much better! Motor doesn't labor nearly as much when its running.

I used the cloth backed graphite from Klingspor. GRAPHITE ROLL 3" X 1 #GR44890

Thanks chris, I've been tied up at work. Go figure!

Its an old all metal 3x21 Craftsman portable belt sander I got at a garage sale for $5.

I used it today, noticed it also runs a bit cooler now. That all metal body heats up right quick.
