Bandsaw Motor Replacement Question

The Rikon motor Matt refers to above is a face mount 1725 rpm motor.
So, is the stock motor on my Delta BS a Face Mount motor as well?

When I followed Matt's link, there was no image of the motor they wanted fifty-dollars to ship to me:

GOT IT - Mine must be a foot mounted motor. I'll have to go look.

There have been a bewildering array of band saws with the Delta name that have come out over the decades. Maybe some of the more recent China/Taiwan saws had the face mount motor. I don't know much about them. The USA made 14" Delta band saws used a foot mounted motor, not a face mount.

Hey, this is a little outside of the great feedback you are already getting, but have you reached out to an electric motor shop? Greenville has a fantastic shop that can repair or replace any motor on any machine. I have been using them for service since I moved here in 2000. They recently repaired a Dewalt miter saw for me, that an authorized Dewalt service center told me was trash. The motor shop replaced the armature bearings, polished the windings, soldered in new connections between the switch and the motor, and they even changed the arbor bearings for me while they had it apart. The bill was $116 and it was ready in 3 days.

Last year, I had a 10hp motor go out on a 26" Wadkin bandsaw. They put a new WEG industrial grade, constant duty, 10HP motor on it for $1,600.

I ALWAYS check with them before I do anything else.
There's another excellent motor repair shop in Concord. They've been in business since 1948: Machine Shop-Concord, NC-Purser Central Rewinding

Here are the best shots I've got showing the difference between a face mounted motor and a foot mount. Ths shot of the two motors are foot mount.
Another 'gotcha' detail is the bolt hole patterns. NEMA (USA) motors will have one standard of spacing either for foot or face mount and IEC (China/Europe) have a different standard of hole patterns. Early on I got bit by this detail, but only once.

No - I have upgraded to sharper blades, ceramic whatchamacallits and orange tires.
(JUST LOOKED AT THE P10-324-2H - Rikon Power Tools MENTIONED ABOVE But even with 20% off it comes to 207.56)
Just sittn :( on a fence
@MacNut11 When I finally decide to upgrade the ¾ hp motor in my import Delta, I'll most likely use the 1½ hp motor that Rikon uses in their 14" bandsaw P10-324-2H - Rikon Power Tools
I do believe that Rikon motor is a face mount which would definitely not work on my USA Delta 14". I need a 56 frame base mount motor I believe. I'd like to put step pulley's on it to slow it down some for certain jobs. Who am I kidding though I'm still trying to get my shop setup. I had another major spine surgery two years ago and then Covid this past July so I'm still playing catch up on a lot of other projects but one day it'll happen.
