From FatWallet.com - B&D Firestorm Drill Press $24.75 at some Lowe's stores. Someone reported success at the Lowe's at Crossroads in Cary, the sign said $45.50 but it rings up $24.75. Lowe's in Apex - still $89.

It's not much of a drill press, but if you don't have one, for $25 it's a great deal.

I tried to drill a flat bottomed hole handheld with a forstner bit a couple of weeks ago. Came out flat but crooked, any kind of drill press would have been more than welcome at the time, may have to check the Lowes in Salisbury tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up. It will do until I can get a real one.
