Attention woodcarvers!!

The 13th annual North Carolina Woodcarving Festival will be held at Kingspor's Woodworking Shop of Raleigh on Saturday, March 21. Get your special creations either finished or off the shelf and enter them into the show. There are four divisions designed for your skill level and 16 categories in each. The cost is from $15-$20 except for Youth which as always is free. There is more money and better ribbons to be given away this year. There will be demonstrations, door prizes, raffles and lots of stuff on sale. Even if you don't enter, come buy and check it out, you will not be sorry.

I have been to several of these events. Be sure and stop by to see all of the very creative work done by our area carvers. There is a lot of talent here. It is a free event to view beautiful works of art and you might use your discount to purchase something while you're there to help support more of this, just as Klingspor continues to support us and the area woodworkers.
