... and we are still below $3,000 in ticket sales. :wsad: Every Ticket you buy helps keep the NC Woodworker [GLOW="blue"]FREE[/GLOW] for everyone and allows us to run educational demos at woodworking shows, to support this picnic, to sponsor workshops, shop crawls and more. We've got lots of incredible prizes and frankly, I do not understand everyone's reluctance to buy some -- if the 344 members that have logged in during the past 24 hours (less the 7 ineligible Board members) each bought ONE $5 ticket (or one more), we would increase the total sales by nearly $1700.
We have 19 Lots -- they range in value from about $100 in value to $1,350. Online ticket sales end at 6:00 PM on Wednesday and any Mail-in Forms with checks must be received by Joe Scharle at that time as well. Someone will win this $265 beauty:

Well, I just bought 3 more tickets so that gets you all a little closer. I now have a total of 10 tickets and that's pretty much my limit right now (finances are a bit tight at the moment)!
I won't get to make it to the picnic -- too far away and health-wise I'm just not up to that sort of travel -- but I do hope everyone has a great time and this year's prizes find some good homes. There's nothing more shameful than a homeless tool (PS - I run a shelter for homeless tools, just in case anyone wants to donate :wink_smil).

Just so every knows and as we have agreed in the past, the drawing at the Picnic Saturday will be conducted in the sequence of the Lots -- the first ticket will be for Lot 1, the second ticket for Lot 2, and so on. We have two Eagle America Lots and four Woodwright's School Lots in that sequence, plus the new lots that were added as the Drawing progressed (Zebrawood and Amboynia Burl). Then I am adding a secret Lot from a National vendor last.

I'm either going to buy a Ridgid OSS or a bunch more tickets. Depends on the potential sellers response.
Tough choice there. I have the Ridgid OSS. Nice tool. But, buying tickets could get you that nice Rikon band saw, or even the Jet Midi, or ...
Myself, I would go for the tickets, but that's just me. :gar-La;
