At 10CFM (or thereabouts) it's not a true 7 HP. If it were, the CFM would be in the 23 - 25 CFM range.

Still, a heck of a good deal.

I have a Campbell Hausfeld "5 hp" 125 psi max, 6.5 acfm @ 90 psi, 26 gal that runs on 110v!! Needless to say, the hp rating is a joke. However, it is a good compressor (the Extreme Duty cast iron series).

Looking at the specs, this one is aluminum body (noisy), and actually 3 hp, but still looks like a good deal as the cylinders are sleeved and it is an oil sump type. Note that it requires 220v.
