40w ebay laser

Does anyone in the Raleigh area have one of these lasers? I was looking at them and would like to see what they can do first hand. And also how hard they are to operate.

I was over to Gatlinburg this past weekend and noticed a lot of stuff being done with lasers/engraver. I am curious if the 40w has enough power. I have watched videos with mixed reviews.

The wattage would depend on what you want to do. Higher wattage will either cut deeper, faster, or for a longer period. They are rated at a number of hours at full strenght. I'm learning about them myself.

My SIL purchased a BOSS 60 W 3016 laser which has been used daily for two and a half years w/o problems. It is a chinese made laser similar to ebay models but the company is out of FL with good english speaking support / customer service.
