O.K one of the MANY moments you have all been waiting for - it is Picnic time and that means the NCWW annual Raffle!

Tickets for the annual NCWW raffle are on sale now!
If you are reading this scroll up and click on the banner to purchase tickets or on this link:

The picnic will be at Jordan Lake on May 20th. For more information click here: Making your Picnic plans May 20, 2023

Online ticket sales will close the evening of May 19th but we will sell ticket at the picnic until the raffle starts or all 4000 tickets have been sold!

Now as has been pointed out, the purpose of the raffle is to support the site, the advantage is if you buy a $5 ticket you have the chance of winning some REALLY great prizes. In the past, we have teased some of the smaller prizes and then toward the end rolled out the big stuff...
I am going to do it a little different this year...

Matt, as with anything in life, the more you put into it, the better the rewards. Don't limit yourself to a single ticket, buy them early, and buy them often!

But wait... there's more
We reached out to some of our members and asked if they would be willing to donate something they made for the Raffle... OH MAN did they deliver!
From Charlie - It is 9" D X 7 1/2" H made from sapele, lacewood and maple. 157 pieces.
Value - Priceless, it is a one of a kind piece of art work made by one of our artisans

Then Earl's piece (@erasmussen on the site)
8 1/2" diameter open segment turning with missing segments
Blood wood, Maple and Tamarind
Again, Value: Priceless, it is a one of a kind piece of art work made by one of our artisans

And just one more for today from Dan (@dancam)
One of his jewelry boxes (this had my wife digging in the couch cushions for more money for raffle tickets!
Dan sent me a video of the unbelievable "piston-fit" of the box insert, but it is a .MOV file and I was not able to post it... trust me, it is jaw dropping!

How about going from "thinks I want" to a "things I Need" ?
Our very own Jim Creasman made and donated not one, not two but three hand-made marking (cutting-style) gauges, made from purple heart, maple and brass hardware.
Three lucky winners thanks to Jim!

Works for me. Scroll down a bit, use the +/_ buttons to enter a number. Click save. The software will guide you from there by popping a screen up where you enter your payment method.

Everyone on the forum should test this process all the way through. That's the only way we can be certain this works for every member and is 100% reliable.

Please follow these steps:
  1. Click the banner.
  2. Press the "+" button one or more times and press Save button.
  3. Type name, address, payment information, etc at the pop-up and press Save button again.
  4. Enjoy your tickets.

I tried to buy tickets but got a failure message. Looks like the charge went through though. Is there a way to confirm if I have the tickets? Thanks!
