You would be shocked with the deals that occasionally pop up on Craigslist. Someone should definitely jump on this one or at least check it out. A member posted several months ago about an 18" Rikon bandsaw that he got in Florida for $400. Another member posted about getting a $4000 Grizzly planer for something like $400 or $500, so it is certainly possible.

I texted the guy. He actually did respond. Someone was on the way to buy it. I told him if it didn't work out that I'd be on my way out there immediately. He texted me back about 20 minutes later saying that it was sold and gone.
Someone got a good deal.
