priming

priming

Guys, If I have sprayed on a single layer of zinnser primer and it looks like a got good coverage (on poplar and birch ply), is it necessary to put on a second coat? I am finishing with Sherwin williams pro classic water borne. i plan on 2 coats of that over the primer.... Am I good to go or...

Sanding after priming????

I'm painting that table I made and the primer coat is getting some brush marks and it's raising the grain a litttle. I primed with Kilz 2, water based. Would it be stupid to lightly sand out the imperfections. Then I think I will cover it a water based enamel for the wash-ability. Any painting...
