Rust prevention

Sad to say, my table saw lives outside. Under cover, but outside none-the-less. Rust on the table is problem, obviously. I can clean the rust, but am looking for something to protect the surface so I don't need to clean the top of either rust or rust preventative before use. Suggestions...

The Inhibitor - rust prevention

This product was mentioned in todays N&O Outdoors section as a rust inhibitor for tackle boxes. Looks like it could work in a tool cabinet or drawer in humid/unconditioned shops. Or, it could be a boondoggle. I've been throwing use silica gel packs in my tool drawers. I don't know if it helps...
