Hot Dog Style Compressor Orientation

There is an attached lean-to against the backside of my shop. It's not large enough to leave my hot dog style oil-less compressor horizontal. Would it hurt to turn it on end and set it up vertical?

Grain/curl orientation on frame and panel

I'm about to start gluing up some frames and panels that I've been working on for a new piece. The panels are veneered with curly bubinga, and the pieces are bookmatched. The curl runs about 25 degrees from horizontal, resulting in a "v-shape" due to the bookmatch. So, the question that I'm...
