microplane

anyone use the microplane?

I had made some slots in ply and drilled out most of the waste and then used a file to clean out the waste. It worked ok but my file is mainly used for sharpening a mower blades, not cleaning up wood :rolf:. I think I like this method of cleaning up thru mortices than using a chisel. Anyone...

Microplane Sanding Disks

I picked up a pack of Microplane 5" sanding disks at the woodworking show in Charlotte. Finally got around to trying them. A little scary. The course and medium are very aggressive. My PC sander did suck up most of the dust they created unlike regular sandpaper. Has anyone tried tried these...
