Help! Bowed Plywood

I am in the process of building a blanket chest and the plans call for a top from 3/4" plywood with a 2" band around it. But my plywood is bowed!!! :BangHead: I have not tried gluing the band to it yet, but being that it is 2" wide and only 23/32" thick, I think the plywood will bow that...
