That tree is just awesome. People talk about old growth, but they really don't know what old growth is. That tree has survived because it was in an area that couldn't be logged, a river valley. That is one of the few remaining specimens of old growth that were around way before our great great grandfathers. My wife and I had our pictures taken there, also, but before digital so I can't show it. Dave
