Wood movement & Compatibility

Hey Everyone,

Alright will Cherry, Walnut, Hard Maple, and Burl maple work well together in wood movment & compatibility? :eusa_thin

The Backgammon board is going to have Walnut and hard maple trianlges for the playing field and Cherry trianlges for the filler with a thin strip of maple in front of the trianlges before the middle 2" playing area where the burl maple will be. With cherry for the Case and piece holder.

Just wondering if these are compatible enough for each other?:eusa_thin

At the size of your pieces I don't think that you should have a problem.

Sweet I was hoping that was the case. :icon_cheers Oh and I will be cutting the playing area on a bandsaw to 3/16 thick with cork in the middle and 1/4 cherry for the outter case. I hope that doesn't chage anything.
