We lost a true national treasure today

The heart and soul of intarsia, Judy Gale Roberts, passed away today after a short illness. I was blessed to take two classes from her and had the opportunity to visit on two other occasions. Not only was one of the most gifted designers/woodworkers that I ever met but she was the kindest most nurturing teacher that I have ever seen. Rest in peace my dear friend and mentor.

What a sad loss. I took a course from her last year and as Scott said she was a very gifted artist and truly wonderful person. Just viewing her gallery was a course in intarsia itself.

Luke, thank you for sharing this video. WOW what an artist! I knew of her but only through selling some of her pattern books in the past. This video was awesome. Truly a great loss to our woodworking community.
