vBulletin 3.x End of life

Some how this has escaped all of us. You can longer even buy vb 3.x. There will NOT be any further bug fix releases or support of the vBulletin 3.X series. In other words, it is at a stage commonly called "End of Life".

We are at 3.8.6 PL1. the final release was 3.8.7 with a patch level of 2 (PL2). I can't even find what security holes were fixed in PL2.

I tried to do a patch upgrade and learned where we stood.

Something wrong there. If you have the customer number and password, I would like to look at it. You should be able to get 3.8.7 PL2 even if you can't get 4.x. I thought I upgraded that to 3.x/4.x license when they had the special deal. If I didn't you should be able to get 3.8.7 pl2 . Unless you guys let member's area lapse too, like vbseo.

Either way, can you send me the customer number and password., I may an easy solution to all of this.:eusa_danc
