Okay, I use Tried and True Original Finish on the smaller benchtop I cut from the larger one I made lastweek. This stuff is awesome. My back hurts just from applying it, then, when I had to buff the top...OW!!! LOL
Anyway, this little bench is going inside my house because it will be used as my leatherworking bench.
TTOF has to be applied in the heat of the day. I used the sun to help cure it...sionce my workshop is partially outside. I'll be applying the finish to the larger benchtop once I have the legs attached. Then I can finish the whole thing. TTOF really raises the grain nicely. The pics are a little tough to see the true grain, but I am going to photograph it in sunlight tomorrow...if we get any. LOL
