The fall colors should be just starting for this event, but it is always beautiful in Floyd County this time of year. Come visit the event and cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway before or after. Lots of crafts and food vendors will be set up outside the high school for that lunchtime treat.

This is a huge event. It takes up the entire gymnasium and several other large rooms at the Floyd High School. There will be several woodworking vendors, notably Phoenix Hardwoods who has a shop in downtown Floyd featuring their wares, but there will also be all other assorted crafts represented. Probably some Xmas items at this time of year as well. Plenty for the non-woodworking spouses to enjoy.

Floyd is a short trip from NC up Hwy 8 or up I-77 and across on Hwy 221. In fact the intersection of 8 and 221 has the only stoplight in the whole of Floyd County.

Too bad you can't make it. The kind of items that you make would do very well at this event. The last time we went I don't remember seeing any Scrollsaw work there, but it's been a few years. You should consider signing up to exhibit next year.

If I manage to make it there I will definitely take some pictures. But I really don't need any more knick-knacks around the house. I've been trying to unclutter since Susan passed away and I realized how much of a packrat we both were.
