I am getting ready for my baseline skills class and want to get my old Stanley 80 scraper up and running. It needs a new blade and a new camber adjustment screw. I will get the blade from Hock Tools but do not have a source for the screw. Anybody know where to find one ??

I usually find that kind of thing in the nhplaneparts store on ebay. There are are number of #80 parts there right now, but I'm not sure if he has what you are looking for since I'm not really familiar with the #80. He is a good guy to deal with though and even if you don't see it there it might be worth contacting him.

NH plane parts
he used to be only on eBay but I think he has a web site now.
If google doesn’t bring him up I’ll pm him on Facebook and get him to email you.

Absolutely positive he he will have what you need.

Is it a Stanley #80 cabinet scraper or a #80 scraper plane? I'm confused about which one you need.

Maybe what I have is not a Stanley. There is no name or numbers on it. I found a 1/4 - 20 thumbscrew and it fits

Maybe a previous owner retapped the hole for a 1/4-20 bolt instead of the original 1/4-28. It shouldn't really matter, just a slightly coarser adjustment.
