Interesting block plane I saw at an estate sale in Cary today. Just wanted to share with the group, had never seen one before.

Out of curiosity, what were the prices like on the planes?

That's a new one on me. Great artifact. The iron looks like it spent some time in salt water.

Prices were reasonable. I got a No. 7 in fair condition for $40.

There was over a 100 planes there. If you are nearby I would check it out.

It was really cool for sure. But they go for $$$. I settled on a No. 48 (along with a few others) instead.
