Looking for a source where I can purchase a couple of screw / nuts so I can fasten a blade to a handle. Short long story, my Japanese flush cut saw bit the dust, ie the handle broke off which I realized would happen at some point in time. So I made a handle patterned after my Adria dovetail saw and need a couple of these thingies so I can attach the blade to the handle. I might be going to a lot of trouble for such a POS thing as this but what the hey. Probably for the cost of the screws / nuts, I could buy a new saw. But, that is too easy and I made such a nice handle ( sapele) I even thought about putting a back stiffener on the blade and making a small dovetail type saw out of it. Well, story over, anyone know of any sources?

Monty's suggestion is a good one, but I think you could also use bronze knock-down connectors such as these from Woodworker's Supply. They are available in 30 mm lengths and have a standard recessed nut that is tightened with a 5 mm Allen wrench.
