Rigid JP0610?

I saw a Rigid JP0610 jointer on CL for $400. I told him I wanted it, but as I was looking around I can't seem to find where you can buy it anywhere. Did they discontinue it?

According to this lumberjocks thread, Rigid support said you could special order it by going to a HD store. HD has it on their website, just out of stock, for $599. I think if it were discontinued, it would say so on the product page. Perhaps they're not stocking them until the tariff situation is resolved? That's pure speculation though.

That jointer is great. I have it in my shop, and I bought it used off a NCWW member. $400 seems a bit high, though. The used market for those seem to be in the $2-300 range, and sometimes cheaper depending on the condition. I bought mine for $200, and I thought that was a great price since it was in pristine condition (and maybe he sold it at a discount for a fellow NCWW member). I would at least try to talk him down a bit.

I agree 400 is high. A very nice NCWW sold me a comparable delta in excellent condition for 150. This was just last month. Just found I can add a shelix for around 200 so for 350 I can have an outstanding piece of machinery.
