Last week I purchased a nice red oak log from Mark Patterson, who owns and operates a sawmill and kiln in Sanford, NC. One of Mark's employees, Moses, is a member of North Carolina Woodworker under the name M.L. Snipes.

Mark and Moses enquired about advertising wood for sale on NCWoodworker, and I suggested that they might want to take out a tombstone ad for a few months (I told them that I thought that it cost around $50.00 - $60.00 per month, but I wasn't sure). I don't think that they have a web site...

Rob, is this an appropriate thing for you to follow up on?

Thanks.

Actually I will follow up on this. You are correct, tombstone ads are 50.00 per month, payable in quarterly payments of 150.00. Thanks for the lead:thumbs_up

Yep, this is Tracy's department -- he is also working with Wes Keull of Mountain Sawyers in Fairfield/Fletcher about an ad -- I've spoken to Wes and he is definitely interested in placing an Ad, but is very busy negotiating an important addition to his business. I'm sure it will happen soon.
