Looking for suggestions regarding dust collection from the top of a table saw blade.
I have a sawstop and have used my festool dust extractor hooked to the blade guard which has given me decent results but I am getting my new shop space setup and now have more options. The main drawback to continuing the way I have is that when doing thin cuts, dados or non-through cuts I give up dust collection above the saw blade.
I see that sawstop, shark, grizzly and others make over-blade dust collection setups that are separate from a riving knife which expands its use to dados, etc. main question is which of these over-blade options are the most effective at collecting dust and also being user friendly.
All suggestions first hand experiences are welcomed.
Thx!
