The idea struck me when we rented an airbnb here during our transition from So FL. There were some Adirondack chairs available for guests. Somewhat comfortable seated, but it felt like I was in a Pilates class trying to get out of the thing. Not fun with low back issues. So I started thinking about alternatives. I found a few simple patio chairs designed for using cushions which I started to use to create my own design. But not really great for sitting with a wet bathing suit since no way to drip off anywhere. Then I saw one YouTube video on a more upright adirondak and a couple on barstool types so it got me to thinking I might be able to make one that could be both more upright and used with or without cushions.nothing to do with the finish but I would be interested in a basic concept of what your "“senior” Adirondack chair" will look like structurally
