So do the people on your Buddy List have to be online before you can use it to send them a message? Just looking for shortcuts.

They shouldn't, your buddy list is just a quick way to send a PM to a bunch of folks. It works no different than a regular PM...I think.

The Buddy List in the right hand corner works that way. But under Other Links-> Open Buddy List will allow either
