Still need to apply some finish, but the woodworking is done. 60 degree splined miters (mined spliters?). And yes, that is the Philogany (mahogany from Phil's salvage operation a while back). Very happy with how the miters came out, usually those joints aren't that tight (mighty tighty spliny miters?)

In case you're wondering, these are dice trays, to help keep dice on the table and not all over the floor. Bottom will be finished with flocking, two of the trays will have tops held in place by magnets (hence the holes).

BTW, cutting hexagons on the table saw...not so simple!

Bread box, with the following joinery:

Blind dovetails joinery on the Satin Wood side and end panels

Blind dovetails joinery on the Walnut bracket feet.

Bread board joinery on the lid ends, attaching the Walnut breadboards to the Satin Wood lid.

The lid handle/knob attaches with a mortise in the lid and a tenon on the knob.

No screws or fasteners used on the box, the base was attached with blind dado joinery.

I'll bite, I'm finishing up my dresser build and the side panels are a combination of a jack miter and mortise and tenons for the frame and panel sides.

After reading the thread about joinery and the different views others expressed, I thought I would post this as a candidate for a Neanderthal consideration?? No power tools allowed. Did one door with all hand tools and the other with both power and hand tooling.

Can't remember which one was all hand?? No memory is not all bad.
