The Board has decided to modify the monthly contest. Really it is not much of a change. We just want to stop the overlap of voting for last month while accepting entries for the current month.
Beginning in August the monthly contest will run for the first three weeks of the month and voting will take place the last week. Will repeat that schedule for foreseeable future. This will run on calendar days and not Sunday-Saturday weeks. The last seven days of the month will be voting only.
In other words, entries will be accepted the first ~23 days of the month (assuming a 30 day month calendar) and voting the last 7 days. The entry period will be determined by the number of days in the month minus 7 days for the voting period.
When the contest opens each month, look for a date when entries are closed.
It will take a month to transition this into place.
