Before making a precise cut today, I decided to 5-cut check my mitre gauge (which hadn’t been checked for a while).

It was exactly square and has been since I replaced the Delta handle with a cap screw and washer. Using the original handle, it was hard to get it tight enough to be secure long term.

But don't you miss the handle? I suspect I would, even though I rarely use my miter gauge.

No. Left hand holds the work against the fence and stop. Right hand pushes the fence.

My sled does not have a stop block. I use this when I need a stop block.
