mailing Lists

There are 2 "mailing lists" that I have always taken care of. Actually they were not mailing lists but rather regular addresses., with auto CC. It is now time for you guys to do something with them.
They are webmaster@ncwoodworker.net and admin@ncwoodworker.net. What is sent to them is determined by settings in the vBulletin admincp. I didn't play with those settings very much, becuase I saw them all any way.

But I am no longer monitoring them. So I suggest that first a decison is made as to what type of info goes where. For instance al things like new users in moderation, calendar events, etc. be the webmaster and all technical go to admin. Then decide who gets on each list. Then tell me what you want, and I will make them into mailing lists.

I haven't turned over email control yet, waiting on a decision.

Not arguing with you, but wouldn't the new users and moderation stuff make more sense to say go to the senior moderators and the technical stuff go to the admin and/or webmaster?

I am willing to continue to monitor the Webmaster e-mails and deal with the New User in Moderation. Tracy and I have talked about this, and seeing as I have been a part of this site for much longer than he has I have a better feel for that decision making process.

I'd like to stay on the Webmaster email distribution list, too. I find it useful for many issues as well as seeing new user registrations.
