Have you used both? (or anyone else?) I'm curious if the magnets and switch are as good. My experience is limited to playing with one at WoodCraft. From that, the Magswitch sticks in place like it was welded on...which is obviously a requirement for such a device.

I've only used the Ridigd but I can say it's solid as a rock. I'm planning on buying another when I have some discretionary funds..... Look for the purchase Q3 2017....

+1 for the Magswitch, but I have not tried the Ridgid. Definitely one of my favorite accessories.

The Ridgid version does say "Magswitch" with the "r" for registered trademark so I'm not sure why it would be any different from the non-Ridgid version.
