Insert SketchUp into Thread

How do I do this? I tried it awhile back, but got an error message stating that it wasn't supported (couldn't be done). I've seen a few recent threads that have SU in them.

Hi Jeff,

In sketchup, go to:

File

Export

2D Image

and you'll end up at this screen:

From there, you can save it as a JPEG (.jpg) to "My Pictures" or wherever you want on your computer. Then upload it to your photo gallery on NCWWer and post it in a thread from there. :icon_thum Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Are you referring to an image from SU or the actual file? If you mean an image, then just export it from SU, upload it and then insert into your thread just like any other image. If that's now what you're wanting to do, please elaborate.

If you want to distribute the actual SketchUp file, I think you can upload it to the download library in zip format. Members can then download it onto their computers and look at it.
