How do I post an item I would like give away?

Sorry to an idiot. I have an oddball item that might be useful to someone. I have never posted here before and it is not clear me how I might proceed.

Use the for sale listing and post the no-cost (if you have privileges there as a new user - you do have to jump through a few hoops to post on that forum).

I can't recall all the specifics. 5 posts, including an 'WHo we are" intro. Not sure what else. Search for "Rules for New users" or hopefully someone who knows the rules can advise.

Correct. The user promotion script runs after midnight. You were reverted to new user as you had not been on the site in over 30 days.
