General 450 Exterior Finish

Anyone used the General 450 finish? At the Klingspor show, George sent me a quart of semi-gloss, but I hate to put it on cedar swings and cypress chairs etc. because of the "sheen." They make it in a satin finish. Just wondered if any of you have tried it.

George swore that 450 won't change the color of the wood and has excellent UV and weather protection. He's a nice guy and I don't want to ask him for another sample.

I haven't used it, but can't you knock the sheen off of it with some 4/0 steel wool?

Travis, you're probably right about the 4/0, BUT, I guess I'm lazy. Or OLD and lazy! :embaresse

I want to spray this with my HVLP and be done with it. Thanks.
