Every 5th tooth is flat ground.

I've been using the Leitz 36 tooth rip / combo blade it has a 5deg pitch instead of a true flat and the small pitch does not affect nor is noticeable in dado's.

I have a box blade set up I use for bigger dados as it is 1/4 or 3/8's . If I were doing big productions then yeah, I would probably use my dado, but truth is, those two work for most things I do.

I realize you stated 10 inch blade but if you would consider an 8 incher, I love my Infinity 1/4 flat top blade.
