Finished My 1st Dust Collection System

It took me a couple of months and several more months of planning.

It took a lot of trial and error, supplies from 4 different places, several trips to Klingspor, and 1 trip back to Klingspor returning the things I didn’t use.

Total of 11 tools and 2 floor sweeps.

I’m pretty happy with the outcome. Not perfect, but still pretty good.

Yes that's a floor sweep by the Drill Press. I am curious how useful a floor sweep ends up being.

I think if you have a remote, it will be good, if you have to walk over and switch on the DC, there will likely always be a pile in front of the sweep...JMHO

That’s because I just cleaned and now I don’t want to use my tools because they might get dirty again.

Great job. I may have to study and reference these pics many times. I've been toying with piping in a system instead of moving the shop vac hose from tool to tool as I am now. I use a dust deputy and 15 gallon fiber drum that is sufficient for my needs. My shop is my garage and still used as a garage when I'm not in it.
