It was an incredible deal for that lathe. The guy who sold it was really nice, he held it for me because I was the first to call. He said he could have sold twelve of them at that price.

I bought it for my stepson, he's been wanting a lathe for years but hasn't been able to afford one. Hopefully I don't fall in love with it before I have a chance to give it to him!

Here's the picture, I had to take the base off to transport it in my small truck. Gosh, that steel is heavy:
