Thanks.

I Hogged them out with forstner bits, then used chisels, gouges, scrapers, clam shell and flap sanding heads on a right angle drill and fininshed with hand sanding. The outside was shaped with an edge sander.

Those bowls are very Very nice!

That took a lot of work cleaning the inside like that...

You did a wonderful job on them!

I looked at this thread yesterday and didn't have time to comment. The bowls are awesome David. Great job! :icon_thum Did you take any pics while you were making them?

Sorry, I only took finished photos. I would post more photos more often, but I always get "timed out" trying to upload photos.

I was not really difficult to make them, just time consuming.

It seems you have been keeping the shop elves pretty busy lately. LOML just saw this post (with pics). Of course, she recognized that the bowls and tray were sitting on the lovely mahogany DR table you just posted about. She said, "Well, it's good to see that SOMEONE has been productive in the shop lately."
