"Anyone need a small air compressor? HD is evidently closing out their 2 1/2 gallon dual stainless steel tank oiless unit for 49.00! 1.9 cfm at 90 psi, so it is a small unit. Has a pressure guage for the tank pressure, and another one for the output. Two hose hookups.

Regular price appears to be 179.95, on sale for 49.00! There was no sale price on the shelf or unit, but it rang up at the sale price at the counter."

That's a fairly significant discount... thanks for the heads up. I've passed this along to some friends in places like Habitat for Humanity (and they don't have much of a capital budget).

Never bought a compressor before. Would that be enough oomph to run a small brad nailer?

Yes, indeed, Charles!

That would be the primary purpose for one of those (plus tire duty...). You might have to wait for it if you're framing a deck with a framing nailer but any finish nailer should work fine with it.

Talked to a drone at the West Asheville store. Their internal inventory showed 1 but we couldn't find it and he remembered selling the last 4 he had. He accessed the hive mind and there are none in WNC or Greenville, SC.
