Band Saw Assistance with Resawing

I'm looking for someone in the Apex area that can help me out resawing a board that is 6 1/2" tall by 30" long. My 14" delta bandsaw can only go to 6 1/4" without the riser block, and a riser block kit is not in the budget currently.

Jim - my resaw bandsaw is torn apart right now (replacing motor) but if you can wait a couple weeks...

I've been working on a blanket chest for quite a while now so a few more weeks won't hurt. BTW, I have a motor that came off of an air compressor. If you are interested I can get the specs from it.

Steve, you're also welcome to use my 17" Grizzly; it even has a nice carbide tipped resaw blade in it!

Jim - thanks for the offer, but I have a 3HP Leeson that I'm mounting.

Thanks to all who offered help. ScottM was able to help me out and even had a drum sander to take care of the band saw kerf. I need to dig our that camera now.
