We have new member named firecaptain that signed on today with a very political avatar (a picture of the President in white makeup and the word Socialism under it) that I deleted as soon as I saw it in his first thread. I send him a PM indicating my action. Here is the content of the PM:

We'd like to welcome you to the website, but I have deleted your Avatar -- it is a violation of our policy -- please find something more appropriate.

I did a little investigating based on the email address that he gave with registration. His email is jdhowell@clevelandvfd.org. He is a member ot the Cleveland Road Volunteer Fire Dept in Clayton and his name is JD Howell. I don't know why he didn't provide information on registration.

Good catch Rob, based upon his first post I think he is one of those folks who only join to use NCWW as a Google for woodworking questions and does not do any woodworking themselves. Hopefully he will disappear after having his avatar deleted. :wsmile:
