Good deal on the Bosch sander. Just an FYI, it was on sale early June for $279. I ordered one and it never showed up. Amazon let me cancel the order (after making me wait 2 weeks), but by that time the price was $299 if I wanted to re-order it. They would refund my money but they would not give me the original price if I paid. After that I ordered one from Home Depot since I had a 10% off coupon. So my final price was $269.

I have the predecessor of that Bosch sander, the DEVS 1250 if I remember the number right. I highly recommend it. I use it one handed often but you have to be careful, it is a handful. It wants to sand more on the side the motor is on. In turbo mode it sands very quickly. So you have to be careful to spread the sanding around. I think turbo mode is about as quick as my belt sander so I don't bother with it. In regular random orbit mode finishing with 220 grit I cannot see any scratches. I have other sanders but the one I really use is the big Bosch. I want to get good results in the minimum time possible and it does that well.

Late last night I was checking back in to see if the sale had ended and noticed that the price on the Wen variable speed drill press had been lowered even further to $200, so I ordered one.

I checked again this morning and it was back up near its regular Amazon discounted price of $264.

It must've been reduced for only a few hours.
